My How Time Flies...
Anyways, I have been going through this mix of soul searching, not having internet access, and starting new chapters of my life, so I think it's alright that I have been MIA.
I do have a lot planned for this blog in the near future though!
For example:
Months back I recieved an email from a lovely lady named Gemma! Gemma has been working for Durex's UK branch as a PR person for Play-O (known as Play Utopia in the US). She offered me some free samples of the product, so a review is in order. Yay, product reviews!
I'm also currently working on some projects with Sin Secret which will hopefully be coming to light very soon!
Okay, I've got to run!
Much love!

I got this message on FetLife...
Hi! I was browsing around FetLife for folks in the Carolinas soliciting opinions about the Fetish Fair Fleamarket Carolinas. I noticed your profile. I've been a professional erotica writer and editor for over 15 years and I'm always trying to encourage new writers in the field.
As it turns out, we're having an erotica writers discussion group at the FFF Carolinas in Charlotte in a couple of weeks. It's scheduled for Sunday, September 28th, 1:30 to 2:30 on the schedule. It's part of the classes and meetups going on at the event which is all weekend at the Ramada Woodlawn in Charlotte.
Anyway, it would be great to meet you there. I'm going to try to be at the discussion group myself (I'm the director of the event, but surely by then people can spare me for an hour). For more info, check the website: www.fetishfairfleamarket.com. (It's been very tough getting the word out, it seems, but I hope this isn't the first mention you've seen of the event...)

This sounds GREAT! Too bad I can't go... :(
...
Can you?

"I recently had really amazing sex.
It was enlightening to me. Okay, so that sounds really stupid, but it has nothing to do with how good of a fuck he was. There are actually a few different reasons as to why I found it enlightening. 1 - It made me realize that there are things in my life that need changing. 2 - It opened me up to a thing or two I've never tried before (that I honestly wasn't even curious about because I was too scared!). 3 - I discovered a love for recieving oral sex.
Lets start with the oral sex thing.
For a really long time, I've heard women go on and on about how much they LOVE oral sex. I personally could never really get into recieving it. On the giving end, I was perfectly okay, but recieving I've always been weird about having people put their faces in my vagina; it might not smell or taste good, etc. Plus, anytime anyone ever did do it to me, it never actually got me off. With this guy though, it was amazing. He did it lots, causing me to orgasm over and over. It was so amazing! I have a few different theories as to why this sudden love for oral might come to me, but really, I'm hoping that its simply because I'm maturing as a woman.
I'm not really into announcing certain things to the world, so I'm going to leave that part out and go straight for the new things that I tried! Yay!
For the first time I experienced knife play, true sensation play, and in a way, a bit of sadism.
The sadism part comes in because I was instructed to make him bleed. That was his only thing. He didn't have to cum and had no expectations, he just wanted to bleed. Well, he didn't get to bleed, but he did get some amazing bites and scratches... I left his back completely red, raw and stinging from my nails! In the middle of our activities I was slacking off scratching him, and I got "yelled at" for it. It was great! The whole thing; I loved it.
The knife play had a lot to do with the sensation play, but it didn't start out that way. It started with some feathers... I realized quite quickly that if I'm ever going to do this again, I really need a blind fold, but it worked out okay... I'm just really curious about everything, but in certain aspects it takes away the quality of the activity. Anyways, so he started out with the feathers, his hands, random other things, and it was nice; a good feeling. The knife came into play when we went into the bedroom. I saw it out and asked him to use it on me. He told me later that me asking got him quite excited, but damn if he showed his excitement!
Knife play has always been something that I've been really fearful of doing. It just never seemed safe... I walked into that room though, saw the knife on the table and knew; I wanted it so bad!
He started out just running the blade over my skin very lightly. He said he was worried about cutting me and I told him I might like it if he did. He did, and so did I! The blade caressing my skin, able to cause pain at any moment. It was exhilerating!
Being cut didn't really hurt, it just felt weird. In fact, it hurts more after the fact, but its okay, it helps you remember! He was shocked when he found out that it was my first time with knives. I was apparently overly calm about the whole ordeal. I don't know how the typical person reacts to being cut in a sexual manner, but I loved it and saw no reason to freak out about it...
I hope I have scars!"

BDSM: A Few Things Worth Mentioning - Part 2
First up today is the: Fetish Fair Fleamarket!
I personally think this is really cool. It's a traveling fleamarket... dedicated to fetish! They have vendors that sell all sorts of things: rare items, clothes, toys, dungeon equipment, shoes, safe sex items, jewelry, books, collars, paddles, etc.
I got so excited when I saw that they would be coming to Charlotte this month (Sept 22 - 28). Unfortunately, I won't be able to go... If you can though, check it out, and if you don't live in Charlotte check out the website and maybe the FFF will be coming to your area sometime soon!
Next up is: The BDSM Events Page!
I really like the idea of this website. Basically, it's just a list of BDSM events, but they don't focus on one particular area, but rather cover anywhere in the world. It is a little bare seeming right now, but apparently their server went down recently and they lost the majority of their information. Definitely a good site to know if you are into the scene though!
Next is: Christians and BDSM!
Okay so, I'm not even remotely Christian, but I found this website and I think it is a good resource for those of you who might be. It seems like a fairly good sorted site offering a space specifically for Doms and one specifically for subs. Also, there are pages to help ease fears, let you know what the bible says about D/s relationships, etc. Mixing religion with BDSM can be a hard thing to do... Christian or not, you should check it out!
Last I'm going to list some sites that are meant mainly as social networking or personal ad sites.
1. As previously mentioned: Fetlife.com
2. Alt.com - I've used this site before, it could be good but you have to pay.
3. Bondage.com
4. MyBDSM.com
5. Collarme.com
6. BDSMworld.com
7. SandM.com
I have yet to actually visit/use numbers 3 through 7, though hopefully I'll get around to it soon and will be able to tell you more about them. If you have memberships or experience with any of these websites, please feel free to leave a comment with a short review!
I'll leave saying this:
If you are an adult, and have even the slightest bit of curiosity about BDSM, I fullheartedly encourage you to visit these websites, use Firefox's Stumble! button and search for BDSM, or even just do a Google search. There are so many people in this world who are into BDSM, and a lot of great communities exist out there (not to mention stories, photos, videos, blogs, advice, etc)! Do be careful though, wary especially of videos or webpages that have more ads than content, as viruses might be hidden waiting to kill your computer!

BDSM: A Few Things Worth Mentioning.
Though I have had experience with the BDSM lifestyle, I feel limited. Combine that with my love of looking things up, and two of my lovies posting about BDSM in their blogs and BOOM! All of the sudden I'm researching. So far, I've found two things that have really caught my eye enough to post.
The first: FetLife.com
FetLife.com is a social networking website, much like MySpace and Facebook, only you must be 18 and up to join, and you must be the kinky sort. On FetLife, you will be able to see which of your friends have which fetishes, and meet new people all around the world with fetishes similar to yours. You can blog, join groups, etc. It's lots of fun! I've had a good time going through group discussion boards. There are quite a few great topics. Some fun, some very thought provoking. I think I'm going to continue to enjoy using this website for quite some time, and who knows, maybe I'll meet a nice Dom!
The second: Submissive Journey Weekend
SJW is something that I came across while looking through profiles on FetLife. It was created by one of FL's members, and it is a very interesting sort of opportunity. Once a year, SJW takes a group of about 40 people to the mountains in Tennessee for sub training of sorts.
"Submissive Journey Weekend is dedicated to the education and growth of those who identify as submissive/slave, boi/boi, girl, pup in the dominant submissive dynamic. The staff works to create a safe and supportive environment for our attendees. It is produced by a select group of submissives and slaves who are dedicated to educating others in our community. This weekend is open to ONLY those who identify as submissive in the power exchange dynamic. The producers encourage a wide range of diversity and will not discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation or relationship status.
The classes at SJW will focus on service skills training, personal growth and relationship-oriented classes, all with the intent to inspire furthur learning and growth in the submissive.
Come stay with us for three days and two nights at a luxurious cabin nestled in the beautiful mountains of TN (near Gatlinburg, TN). We have people that attend from all over the country and even Canada. Your registration package will include lodging, meals, educational materials, event t-shirt, over 20 different classes and large group discussions."
It sounds pretty awesome to me, and I wish really badly that I could go!
Anyone who is submissive is free to register, but there is an application process requiring three refrences. The fee to go is $235, but it seems worth it, especially looking at the class list!
My final note:
I have recently had my thoughts and feelings on BDSM tested, distressed that I might possibly not truly be submissive because I'm not this or that or whatever. My amazingly wonderful friend Sin Secret was able to help me open my eyes and see that there is no true type of submissive, submissives come in various forms just like in anything else. I just want to say that no matter what type of person you are or what kind of group you belong to, you should be aware that you are a beautiful person and never think down on yourself just because you aren't a carbon copy of this or that. Though I have been able to get lost in societal expectations, I do honestly believe that each person is different for a reason and individuality should be embraced.

You don't know me...
Sex.
We should talk about it.
If you want to ask a question about anything sex or relationship related. Ask. I love questions.
"So, what I'm trying to say is... What I'm trying to tell you is not gonna come out like I wanna say it because I know you'll only change it."
"Say it."
